The First Aid course, which includes CPR training, is among the most popular courses offered. It’s often referred to as the “Senior First Aid” course, “Level Two First Aider”, or the “First Aid Officer Course”. This course encompasses the following units of competency:
- HLTAID009: Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- HLTAID010: Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTAID011: Provide First Aid
Your First Aid certificate remains valid for three years. However, the Australian Resuscitation Council advises undertaking a CPR refresher course every 12 months.

If uncertain, we recommend enrolling in the Child Care First Aid Course since it covers the entire content of the basic First Aid Course with an additional unit. However, if you don’t work with children, it’s not obligatory to take this course.
CPR Course
This course is specifically for those directed by their employers to renew their CPR certification. Typically, attendees renew the CPR component of their course annually to stay current with the latest information. Most attendees attend this course primarily for that reason.

After booking, you will be asked for your USI. If you don’t have a USI, you can obtain one at usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi. Everyone undertaking any course in Australia is required to have a USI. Anyone can acquire one, regardless of their visa status. If you do submit your USI on our website, don’t worry. You can bring it with you on the day or the teacher can help you attain one on the day.
The simplest method to verify if you’re undertaking an official First Aid Course with any provider is to ensure they have an RTO number. Our RTO number is 41072. To confirm the legitimacy of this RTO number, you can visit training.gov.au and search for the RTO to make sure it’s accurate and that they are registered with the Australian government.
